Giant Celtic

As most would know our charity ride to Port Macquarie  finished last friday. After 1200 klms, 7 different hotels, 110 punctures and many funny stories, the group managed to raise around $200,000. Thanks to all who supported us on the ride, the team has raised just under $15,000. We are overwhelmed by the help from all those people.

The highlight was meeting Brock who we were raising money for. For someone who has been through so much and will continue to do so for the rest of his life, he has a fantastic spirit and attitude.

We would like to say a special thanks to the crew at the Kids Foundation. They did a fantastic job and did it with a smile. We met some wonderful people. Made me aware of the quote from a smart person who said “I began learning a long time ago, that those who are happiest are those who do most for others” Pretty true about these people.

Brock is pictured with Darren Rutherford who not only got Giant behind the ride, but also rode along with Craig Jansen from Bicyclesinc.

Without the support of Giant the ride would have been far more difficult.

So, once again thank you to all who supported us, we appreciate it and Brock will benefit without doubt.

The “Road To Port” is complete!
Well done to the 60 odd riders and support staff that completed the 1200k journey to Port Mc this week.
Its fantastic to see people from all walks of life come together for a great cause.
There will be some tired legs sitting around the dinner table tonight!
